Sleepyhead

A game in which you can lay down and pretend like you’re sleeping? – Sounds like a dream.
However, this is exactly what you get to do in this game. Overall, the idea of this game is very similar to tag, with just a little twist that guarantees a good time.

What do you need?
There is no equipment required to play this game. The number of players has to be at least three but it is up to you how many people you want to play with. I recommend being in a group of five to around twenty players. The game can be played anywhere where there is enough space to run around.

How to play?
To start, one player has to be selected. This player is the one who is going to wake everyone up.
Before this can happen, every player has to find a spot to lay down and pretend like they are sleeping. This means closing their eyes and not moving. The player that got selected then walks around and taps every player, one by one, to wake them up. The important part of this is to wake up as quietly as possible to not let anyone know that you just woke up and not talk at all. Once you are awake, you get up and wait to see what the selected player does next. He or she has to wake everyone up except one player. This player is the “sleepyhead”. All the players that were woken up gather around this player and on the count of three, everyone shouts “sleepyhead”. The sleepyhead then gets up as fast as possible and tries to tag every player. When a player gets tagged, they sit either on the outside or in the middle to signalize that they got tagged and wait until the game is over. Whoever gets tagged last is the winner.
As already mentioned, for this game to work, the sleepyhead should not know that he or she is going to be the sleepyhead so try to be as subtle as possible.
You can play as many rounds as you want, with a different player being the sleepyhead and the tagger each time.

I hope you enjoy this game and have fun playing!
