Whether you are looking for a game that helps you to get to know each other better or just want something to lighten the mood, this game is perfect for you.
The name “fruit salad” comes from the fact that the players are like all the kinds of different fruits that you can find in a salad; everyone is different but in the end, they all come together to be one big group.

What do you need?
As with most games, “fruit salad” is the most fun when played in a big group of players. I suggest playing with around 10 – 30 players. Every player, except one, needs a chair to sit on so the number of chairs should equal the number of players minus one. Besides that, there is no additional equipment needed.

How to play?
The first step is to set up all the chairs in a circle.
One person is then selected to be the first person in the middle, this person does not have a chair.
Their goal is to find a chair and sit in the circle like the rest of the players. This is done by asking questions. Every question starts with “Everybody who…” and the questions can be about whatever you want; it can be about animals, colours, hobbies/ interests, clothing, etc.
One question could be “everybody who likes skiing”. After the person in the middle says this question, every player who likes skiing has to stand up and find themselves a new chair somewhere across the room. It is not allowed to sit on the chair next to where they just sat, there has to be at least one chair in between. While everybody is up and running to a new chair, the person in the middle also tries to get one of the chairs and sit down. Whoever is left without a chair becomes the new person in the middle and gets to ask a new question. The questions must not repeat themselves and they have to apply to more than one player, f.e. if the question is “everybody who wears red shoes” and only one player wears red shoes, the question is invalid and a new one has to be asked.
There is no winner or loser in this game and it can therefore be played however long the players want to.
